WE ARE PQ
It all started by us loving music from and early age like most people. PQ Entertainment is made up of Mo, Marcus and Jay. In 2010 we are officially The PQ Entertainment. The PQ is short from where we were raised in Louisiana – Plaquemine. It’s a short distance from the state’s capitol city Baton Rouge.
Mo is a beat maker who started out in band planning any and every drum in the percussion section. Marcus is the business mind behind the product. Marcus while conservative can see business in a different way. Marcus is truly a measure twice cut once type of person. Marcus understands its better to do the research and do it right the first time. Jay is the idea man. Jay also does beats, the mixing and mastering for the company along with partnering with Marcus to run the business side of PQ Entertainment. Jay sits and thinks about the next best thing to expand the PQ brand. Jay never is satisfied with the success PQ has received so far.
PQ Entertainment has 5 main artist they work with, JemtheHaitian, Church, Westcoast Rob, JGtheVision and Lr. Each artist brings something special to the table. Jem is an indie artist on the rise with his break out self produced single “Wat It Do”. Church has his debut album “ A Day In The Life” on Itunes released through the PQ Entertainment imprint. Church is a try lyricist who doesn’t take long to get you to enjoy his presentation of rhymes and stories. Westcoast Rob has punchlines for days. Rob has the uncanny ability to have you laugh but also pay close attention to the content of his rhymes. JGTheVision is a hook artist that can ghost write for anyone. You can give him an beat and a couple hours he will have a full song ready to record. Lr is a true artist. He can make the catch song or tell you a story that you can feel. LR has so many aka’s that it is hard to keep up with some times.

Lost In Time by PQMO
Dj Youso has been managing the PQ Boyz Production Team for a little while now and they are working to find placements and also work on projects together. Dj Youso has been a real positive influence on everything the team is doing. The beats have definitely gotten better wince Youso has been challenging Mo and Jay. Dj Youso has been an awesome resource and will be a major reason PQ will rise to that next level.
Overall PQ has been trying to work with anyone that is hungry. PQ Started working with anyone that would do a song. The problem with that was you would get back songs you couldn’t use or you would get a song back for a long time. Dj Youso started to tell us to stop working with the hobbyist. No we are looking for talented people to do songs with that are serious about the business and putting out quality products. PQ does mixing and mastering for low rates and also does exclusive beats at economical prices. As a company PQ stands for Pure Quality.
